Weapons Army of Two provides you with a full arsenal of weapons which can be unlocked or purchased during the game to help you on your quest for completion. Additional upgrades can be purchased for each weapon as well. Check the complete list below to find our recommendations to get you through the game.
Primary Weapons HK36 – This is default primary weapon you start the game with. Quite effective for getting you through the first mission. Damage: 3.5 AK-47 – An affordable assault rifle. Buy this early on when you just want to pick up the level of death you can dole out. Damage: 5.5 S-System - Basically a wannabe M16A2. Damage: 3.7 M3 Super 90 – A good entry level shotgun for when you like to be up close and personal. Damage: 3 FSPS-12 – When you really want to tear a hole in someone, the FSPS-12 can definitely get the job done. Damage: 5 AUG – It doesn’t look like much but the AUG has awesome accuracy while still packing a healthy punch. Damage: 5 M249 SAW – When you need a lot of ammo to do a lot of damage, the M249 is the way to go. Accuracy suffers on this one though. Damage: 5 PKM – Without question our favorite primary weapon for the entire game. Plenty of ammo and plenty of damage this gun will knock down anybody and everybody. Your accuracy does suffer a bit but with the amount of ammo you throw downrange at one time it doesn’t much matter. Damage: 6.2 FELIN-2C – Small and accurate with a decent punch. Damage: 5.5 DAO-X- The shotgun of shotguns this barrel fed beast will wipe out small tight groups with a single shot. Damage: 8 M134 – Obviously a favorite of the developers judging by the tips given onscreen this is basically a handheld turret. While it holds and delivers a ton of ammo with incredible damage, this weapon has so much kick it is virtually impossible to aim. Good for holding off groups that want to come after you. Damage: 8 MGL MK-X – A barrel fed grenade launcher you obviously want to make sure you’re not using this in tight quarters. Impact will take down your enemy, you, your partner and anything else in the vicinity. Damage: 11
Secondary Weapons M92 Elite II – Your default secondary weapon, this semi-automatic pistol will keep the enemy off you when you’re in a pinch. Damage: 2.2
SOCOM MK .23 – Only a slight upgrad to the M92 you sacrifice a little accuracy for a small boost in damage and ammo. Damage: 2.5 Skorpion – An easily affordable way to switch from pistol to SMG, the Skorpion is a great way to start if you want a little power in your pocket. Damage: 3.7 MP-11A1 – Even smaller than the Skorpion with identical ability to damage, there is a sacrifice to your accuracy if you want to pinch your pennies this way. Damage: 3.7 G18C – If the semi-automatic is the way you prefer to go, then this one has the highest ammo capacity of all of them. Damage: 3.7 MP5k – Not a whole lot of punch for an SMG, but dead on accurate to keep your enemy on his toes. Damage: 3.7 Deagle – Strong as far as semi-autos go, this pistol is more flash than bang with its low ammo capacity. Damage: 3.7 .44 Model 29 – Good old fashioned revolver with a massive punch and decent aim, you better make the shot count because you’re not holding a lot of ammo with this one. Damage: 5.2 P90 – Step up to an SMG with more power, more accuracy and more ammo than you’ve seen available yet. This is definitely a weapon you wont mind keeping as a backup. Damage: 4.2 MP7 – Step up your damage and accuracy even more from the P90 and sacrifice only a small bit of ammo. This is our favorite secondary weapon. Damage: 5
Special Weapons M14 – Your default special weapon, this sniper rifle will get the job done. You’ll need to take a moment to make sure your reticule settles into position before pulling the trigger on this one. Damage: 3.2 MSG-90 – Give your sniping damage and accuracy a bit of a boost from the M14 with the MSG-90. Damage: 5.2 DSR-1 – Take another step forward by boosting your accuracy and ammo capacity with the DSR-1. Damage: 5.2 SVD – Deadly accurate and rips one nasty hole in your enemy. It needs to put the hurt on because it doesn’t hold a lot of ammo. Damage: 6.2 M107 Light 50 – The sniper of choice for our team, the M107 will blow a hole in your enemy you can drive a truck through and be painfully accurate in doing so. Purchase this sniper as early as possible. Damage: 9.5 RPG-7 V1 – Excellent for turning small crowd into hamburger, enjoy the show with this weapon as you’re only getting one round of ammo for it. Damage: 11 FIM92 Stinger – This will dole out the same amount of destruction as the RPG-7 only you get a whole 4 rounds of ammo with this one! Damage: 11
