I've got a Samsung Alias for you Verizon users out there that are looking to upgrade or just to have another phone. Jen got this a couple months ago and has since decided to go with a touch screen phone instead (she upgraded to the LG Dare for those of you that keep up with this stuff).

As I've said, it's only a couple of months old and works fine. We did have some issues with it not wanting to use 3rd party ringtones for text messaging but that seems to be an issue with the Alias in general and not this particular phone.

It is a dual flip phone, meaning it flips open both vertically and horizontally and has a full QWERTY kepyboard. Texting can be done either with the full keyboard or T3 text entry.

"The phone runs on Verizon Wireless's digital and Ev-DO networks. It also is available within Canada on Bell Mobility's network.

Its external features are a small postage stamp sized front display, touch sensitive music control buttons and a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash. On the right side there is a speakerphone button and a microSD (Transflash) card slot. On the left, there is a hold button along with an up/down volume button and proprietary charger/data transfer port. Opened in portrait mode, a standard numerical dialing pad along with two soft keys, send and end keys, a camera button, a voice command button, and a circular four-point dial with an OK key in the center are all available. Opened horizontally, the full QWERTY keypad is usable and a simple button press allows switching between the various alphanumeric functions. The phone will come in the original packaging with all the original documentation. It has both the standard wall charger and the car charger (We bought the car charger later, so the box is a little crowded) and an additional adapter cable that we never had need to use so I honestly don't even know what it's for.

Selling this for $100 even if anyone is interested.
