Another year, another huge disappointment. This year it actually has a name: Milton Bradley. Soriano, Fukudome, Bradley... bye bye Jim Hendry!

Well in theory I've been sad my whole life. I'm 37 and have never seen a WS appearance. At least my Grandma got to see them appear in one even though they lost (1945).

Yes, Seattle has had it's fair share of great player & coaches but not much luck.

Yeah, and go figure that Seattle holds the record for most wins in a full season. Confused

Atleast my favorite basketball team holds there own and has the best winning % of any team in any of the 4 major sports over the past 10yrs Very Happy

Pardon my ignorance, but which bball team would that be? I'm guessing Lakers? I'm probably way off right? I really haven't watched much hoops since the Jordan days.

Before Tom's head explodes . . . bite your tongue.

For him, The Spurs are the ONLY team.

Yeah, we know, he has Vermont in his name and he really does live there . . . he just dreams of places that have . . . people . . . and summer.

Sorry! The Spurs are a fine team, though I had no idea they had stats that good. Yes, the only prof. sports team to come out of Vermont might be hacky sack... Just kidding of course, I've been to Vermont a few times & loved it. Have to admit though it is a bit crunchy.

I certainly wouldn't paint any state w/a broad brush in a serious way. I tend to operate in one mode: sarcastic. If I really wanted to characterize Vermont I would comment on the excellent cheddar cheese ;P

O.k I have admit that I'm in no way a hoops fan (Football,Steelers....6 Rings anyone!) but, I have been to a couple of Spurs games and Tony Parker is the S***, the games I went to he pretty much carried the team. On the other hand TIM DUNCAN is soooooooo overrated or just old, all he did was just hobble up and down the court. Sorry Tom Dancing

Its all good. My favorite player was David Robinson. I dont really have a favorite player on the spurs. They are just a really well coached, and behaved team.

Seriously though, at least he didn't kick her ass in a roid rage fueled frenzy.

Thats why I like them. In todays sports world you got players that are selfish and all about getting the most money and worrying only about themselves. The spurs are a true TEAM, there isnt anyone on that team that looks out for themselves only. Everyone knows there spot and roll on that team and they all accept it.

Poor Richard Jefferson lol
He is going to fit in well because they need a good perimeter shooter and someone that can slash to the hoop at times. Parker and Manu can do that, but they arent as big a threat as RJ.
