Hole #7 Bump N' Run

An easy introduction to the "Carnival" series of courses for this tournament, there is nothing to it. Aim slightly to the right of center and power up your stroke just to the end of the green zone. The slope of the course will carry the ball downhill and if you've aimed correctly, pick up the free stroke power up on the way down. When your ball goes in the hole, you've got a free "Eagle" (Yes, in this case, it's better than a hole in one).

Hole #8 Wind Tunnel

This course looks very long and very confusing at first, but don't let the cut scene fool you too much. This course and hole #9 are crammed together for some reason. It's a psychological trick, don't let it get you. While this course is very long, most of it "plays itself" and depends greatly on luck. The place you want the ball to end up is actually right next to you, just to your left. There are three holes over there and getting the ball into the middle one or the one closest to you will put the ball in the final hole to finish the course. If you happen to have a spring power up in your inventory, by all means, pop the ball over the divider and into one of those two holes and you're done. Chances are pretty good you don't have the power up though, so you'll have to go the long way. Aim to the left half of the 45 degree corner in front of you and power up your stroke to pretty much full. When the ball takes off, the rest of the ride is way out of your hands. The ball will deflect around the course and be "boosted" at every corner except the first and the last by a pinwheel. (For those of you under the age of 25 and don't have a clue what a pinwheel is, suffice it to say it's a fan.) When the ball gets to the end, a little speed and a lot of luck is going to determine which hole the ball is going into. Since the first one is NOT the one you want it to go into, odds are in your favor that's where it's going, so just cross your fingers and hope the ball bypasses that one.

Hole #9 Loop Da Loop

There was a little bit of trial and error here to figure this one out because you'd think you would just nail the crap out of the ball right up the center and be done with it. You'd also be wrong. Aim the ball up the right half of the tunnel and yes, hit the ball at full strength to make it through the tube. Right at the top of the loop there is a vacuum hole power up you'll occasionally hit, but if your shot was good you won't need it. Aiming up the center of the tube apparently causes the ball some distress and it won't make it all the way around the loop. It'll stop halfway through and come back, although on rare occassion it seems to find the vacuum hole power up and a "gap" in the loop which drops it right down onto the green and into the hole. It's a fairly rare occurance, so you'll sooner get the hole in one by going up the right side of the tube.
