This course is a nightmare! I'll be honest, I still don't know with any certainty what the trick to this one is. I understand the concept as to what needs to be done, I just can't seem to put it to work. The video shown above is the result of one frustrating hour of doing this course over and over again. Bascially what needs to happen here is that you need to deflect the ball off the 45 degree corner in front of you, timing it so it doesn't get crushed by the pistion. It should go to the right passing through the steam fast enough that it doesn't get blown off the edge, but getting blown far enough to deflect again off the 45 degree corner on the opposite side, again timed so it doesn't get crushed by the piston. From that point it should travel ahead to the final cup which is fairly straightforward, it's just getting through the first part that is the hard part. Chances are pretty good that once you get the ball down by the cup, it's not going to go in yet and you'll have to do it again making this, in my opinion, the most frustrating course out of all 36. If anyone has a more solid strategy for this course, feel free to contact me. Civil and properly written strategies will be welcomed, posted and credited to you.
Hole #14 Tubular
This course can be confusing, but only if you miss! There are 3 clear tubes suspended above the end of the short area that you start on. You want to get the ball under the middle tube. Aim to the left from where you start, and there is a dark spot right next to the bumper on the ground I use as a reference point for where to aim. Power up your stroke to about halfway into the yellow zone and your ball should roll right under the center tube where it will be sucked up, travel through the tubes and be dropped right into the final cup.
Hole #15 Turntables
This course is a straight shot right to the cup, but luck still plays a large part in getting the hole in one. Aim straight for the hole, power the shot up to the beginning of the orange zone. The turntables are a bit hard to time the shot over and hitting one of the holes in the turntables will completely destroy your chance at the hole in one. Ideally, the ball will pass over both turntables, go all the way to the bumper at the end of the course and deflect backwards and back up the hill into the final cup.
